Hammers

Google HAMMERS, I dare you. You won't find it without a lot of digging. This system was implemented only a few years ago, but it seems like something out of the mid-nineties. It is a Microsoft Access based platform which could be viable for small homebuilders associations, but only with a major facelift and retooling. The number of frustrations which our staff encounters on a daily basis are practically innumberable, but the primary root of all of those is the difficulty of data entry, and limitations on types of data that can be recorded. Individual employee records are in no way linked in an easily viewable format to their parent companies, getting comprehensive reports on various aspects of membership without having them specifically created (which takes awhile) is simply out of the question, and there is no way to integrate email or other communications into the system. Basically, it's out of date and under-powered in a world that has moved on to single point-of-entry systems which can provide the flexibility and broad-reach necessary for modern day trade organizations.

Going from no system to Hammers seemed like a great move, but it is very out of touch with today's technology. Very outdated (uses Access database), have to go back several screens before you can go to a different screen. Staff is awesome though!
