Novi AMS

As a director of operations for a regional trade association, Novi AMS has been a solid upgrade for our team. It brings membership, events, dues, and our website into one place, which has cut down on manual work and cleaned up our data. The interface is intuitive enough that staff at different levels can use it without a huge learning curve. What really stands out, though, is the Novi team: support is responsive, they understand how associations actually work, and the product is continuously improving in ways that reflect customer feedback. From an operations standpoint, it feels like a platform we can grow with, not one we’ll outgrow.

I've worked for member-based associations for 20+ years and Novi is proving to be the easiest to use, best functionality, and the customer services is the best I've ever worked with.

I've worked with over 10 systems, from paper to Excel, to Access, to Member Clicks, to Wild Apricot and so one.  I'm in my early 60s so not always the techiest person on the migration team, but the NOVI system and staff laid out a plan for the most smooth integration I've ever been a part of.  I even understood it and was able to quarterback for the association!  Their willingness to listen is amazing.  In over 3 years of use, there has never been an issue or question that has not been responded to within 2 hours.  They keep you up to date on issues that may need to be resolved, ask what the association needs and have a great annual summit!

I started in the association space in 2008. I was hired in part to immediately take over an AMS implementation project of Personify for that association. Since then, I have worked for a software vendor before returning to my current association as an IT Director. Novi is my 4th AMS to work with, and by far, it's been the most positive experience to date with any AMS. Novi's customer support has also far exceeded any previous AMS, and they have provided some of the best customer support of any technology vendor that I have worked with in my 40 year IT career.

I truly cannot say enough good things about our transition over to Novi for our AMS. The transition was so smooth, and our onboarding team was AMAZING to work with. They are thorough, knowledgeable, and quick to assist with any questions or concerns. Novi has been incredibly user friendly and intuitive all around; both on the back-end for our association staff, and on the front-end for our customers. We love the integration with QuickBooks to automate our dues and subscription billing, and our customers love that they can see all of their company's open invoices in one place in their Member Compass. If you're on the fence about Novi, I can't recommend them enough!

Novi allows our association to focus on the things that truly matter like our members, member benefits, and increasing revenue.  We no longer have to build work arounds to get the information we need to make informed decisions.  Novi has allowed out team to become incredibly efficient, which in turn allows us to be creative and innovative.  Being a Novi customer means being a part of the Novi family.  They value your input and strive for continually improvement based off customer needs.  It truly is an AMS built by associations for associations.

Novi is the best AMS I've worked with after 10 years with my organization. They're quick to respond to questions through a helpful chat feature and they are always making updates and improvements. They offer ample opportunity to provide feedback. It easily handles all my daily tasks. The 4/5 for customization is only that your organization might have unique needs and will have to wait for an update to have a way to address those. For example, we originally did not have an efficient way to bill dues to our members so we used a workaround. After a while, Novi made an update and now it works great!

I think that Novi is a great tool for association management! It allows you to store member information, due invoices and company data all in a secure location while simultaneously keeping tracking of what events they have attended. I would recommend to anyone working in the association world. I look forward to the annual conference where I know my knowledge will only grow!

I am extremely happy with my experience using Novi AMS. The engineering of this program is top-notch and it integrates seamlessly with our QuickBooks Online accounting account. The team at Novi takes our requests and recommendations seriously and is constantly upgrading the software capability and functionality. The integration with my other applications keeps redundant work to a minimum. It is organized and offers a positive end-user experience for our staff and membership.

After a lengthy selection process, we chose Novi as our association management platform. After several months of using the software, we know we made the correct decision.

From onboarding through launch and after, the team at Novi has been great to work with. They guided us through the process to set up the platform to meet our needs.  Support after launch has been fantastic.  The team is always there to help, and provides an answer to our questions in a very timely fashion.  Everyone I've interacted with at Novi has been friendly and knowledgeable about the product.

The transition has also been seamless for our members.  Novi was a big change from what our members were used to in the past, and they have easily moved to the platform to manage invoices and update profiles.

I would highly recommend Novi AMS.

We moved to NoviAMS last December, changing both our AMS and our web presence at the same time. The move went as well as could be expected for a change of that nature. We were up and running in under a day, and we seamlessly launched the sale of one of our primary products just after the switchover. In the eight-plus months since that time, the direct integration with QuickBooks Online has worked flawlessly, saving us significant time with data entry and financial reconciliations. As well, we've been able to use the simple, reliable web interface to maintain and expand our site. The onboarding that started several months before we launched left us fully prepared to take on day-to-day functions when the new AMS and website went live. Any questions we've had since then have been quickly and completely answered by NoviAMS staff, who make themselves available via the chat lines every work day. We are continuing to broaden and deepen our understanding of the capabilities of the system, and the community that NoviAMS fosters has been helpful in pointing us toward unatpped opportunities. We look forward to growing our assoication's online presence through NoviAMS and its capabilities.

I've worked with many membership-based customer management systems over the years and have found Novi's to be the easiest to use while still being an incredibly robust system. It has changed the way we are doing business for our members. The Novi team is very responsive and always striving to make the product better based on feedback from its customers. 

Onboarding & training is superb! Knowledge base and customer service is extremely prompt and beyond helpful. Would recommend NOVI to anyone & everyone - absolutely love it!

We transitioned to Novi AMS in May 2020. This was of course not the best time to be making a full AMS change, but I am still beyond happy to we did it. We did an extensive search for a new AMS, including hiring a consultant to assist us in our research. I am fairly certain we looked at every single mid-level AMS that was in the market at the time. We felt comfortable with Novi during the sales process, and we received what we were promised (which is often not the case during these kinds of projects). The AMS interface is intuitive. We're happy with most of the modules, particularly the member and accounting areas. The integration with QBO has absolutely saved bookkeeping time. We've been able to connect Novi to several third-party products through their API which have all enhanced our members' experience.

But in the end, what sold us was their customer service. I have never felt like a number with Novi. They truly listen to our feedback and ideas and have implemented many of the modifications we have asked for. They host regular member roundtables on a variety of topics, all of which helps to better understand the AMS while also learning from other Novi users. Novi has grown quite a bit since we contracted with them 3.5 years ago, but I still feel like they care about us and our experience. I would 100% recommend Novi to an association looking for a solid AMS with an even better customer service experience. The team at Novi is truly fantastic.

Novi AMS has truly made an impact on the day to day work   One of the biggest factors that stands out for me with NOVI, is the customer service and support. The customer service and support is quality and thorough. If I'm asking a question or need clarity, I'm supported within the answer and I'm able to learn and understand. This really helps with the success of utilized Novi. I truly cannot recommend this more. NOVI also has so many resources available and involves their customers with decisions and conversations of improvement and what WE need to be successful. If you're debating on getting NOVI, no need to debate any longer. This is a decision you will NOT regret. 

Wow! Where to begin with with the wonderful world of novi? My association has used this platform for several years now and it just keeps getting better. Their customer service is unmatched and the team is always implementing upgrades to make our lives better. We also recently attended a novi conference which was 2 days of hands on learning from not only novi, but other customers and my whole team loved it! Amazing work and thank you to novi for creating a platform that our members love!

Switching to NoviAMS has been a great experience for us. Mostly we did the change because we needed to be able to handle the relationships between individuals and companies better than we could in YourMembership. But we got so many other benefits. The support team is amazing - and responses are incredibly fast. There is a constant stream of new features that are making it meet our needs even better - they really listen to feedback and act on it fast. The close integration with Quickbooks has eliminated a huge amount of work during the audit. The Novi financial records and the Quickbooks records are the same - there is no gap between the programs where errors can creep in.

We do a lot of external integrations - and the API is extremely straightforward, fast and reliable. That has excellent support too, although we rarely need it.

I'm struggling to think of a downside.  I scored it lower on customization - but we don't need much customization, the base product already meets our needs, and there are enough custom field options to keep us happy. 

We feel proud to be part of Novi's user group. We love the team, we love their approach, and we feel that in choosing Novi we made a great decision that enhances our ability to serve our members and work efficiently.

I can't recommend NOVI AMS enough.  We went from another provider that was unwilling to help us with our issues.  
When we onboarded with NOVI, I felt that Lea, became part of our staff and got a crash course in New Jersey and 
she was working with us on a daily basis.  During our first year, we have had issues, as with all software.  The support
isn't instant, but usually within 1-2 hours.  When we had a major issue with our email deliveries, I scheduled a call and 
met with the CEO and head of development.  They spent a lot of time with us and found our issue.  Once corrected,
I thought that would be it, But the CEO contacted me back to show way software improvements they are making so 
this wouldn't happen to us again, and the rest of their clients.  The personal attention is amazing.  The software is 
constantly being upgraded.  Yes, it is more money than some of the other providers.  But you get what you pay for
and with NOVI, you definitely get what you pay for!

NOVI is easy to use, has the best customer service out there, and is vital to the success of our association.

Our industry is full of non-tech-savvy people, from our employees to our membership. NOVI takes some incredibly complicated software and caters it to everyone. All we have to do is get our members our employees to spend a few minutes on the site and it turns into a serious tool for them to use!

One of the biggest things these guys have going for them is their customer service. It's easy to care when a sale is on the line, but these guys extend that far beyond what I thought was possible. They value you as a customer and are willing to help you with whatever questions you may have, even the trivial ones. Anytime I've had a question, they've been there to help me out and we've been with them for over 5 years!

Our association relies heavily on the ability to create different membership, create and track trainings, and supply vital information. NOVI AMS handles all of these things easily. 

We were hesitant at first based on the cost, there are other options out there that are a bit cheaper. When we bit the bullet and signed up, we haven't looked back. Jump in and try NOVI out, you wont regret it!
